Hiking and Mental Illness

Hello I am Connie I have PTSD and Bipolar and I have noticed since I started hiiking at the age of 36 that my symtptoms have improved it has been will documented that it helps with mental clarity. I am not the only one that hiking has helped there have people with mortal depression, terets, autism and many other mental illnesses find relief of their symtoms because they are breathing in fresh air and there is not much to worry about it very simple just follow the trail to the end. It also calm anxiety which is good if you have anxiety disorder so get out there and hike your mind will thank you.
